Post by ROSSGR » Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:07 pm

We are having a wknd in |Edinburgh in November either at

MacDonald Holrood Hotel Holyrood Rd (£20 per day valet parking)

or

Thistle Hotel Manor St (Some free parking first come first served basis)

SO , where to park??? NCP looks like £19/day Friday to Sunday sounds expensive :x

Anyone stayed at any of the hotels??

Cheers

If you are staying at the Thistle on Manor Place I can point you to a car park we use for work about 2 seconds away which will be free

PM me if you are interested

You could always park in Marchmont or near the National Library of Scotland in the residential area near South Clerk Street past Newington and get a short taxi ride to the hotels - free parking as it's outside the controlled zone (check the signs to be sure on the street you're on).
