Is it enough less with Tesco's to make it worthwhile? Last time I looked it was about £300 for a tracker and £100 a year after that. You'll find most insurance companies wont insist on a tracker if the cars worth less than £30k

I think your 2 options are http://www.tracker.co.uk/TRACKER/ and http://www.ractrackstarplus.co.uk/

Looks like I was wrong. The RAC one is £379 and £132 a year. Are you really saving £500 going with Tesco?

Isn't it just insurance companies funded by and owned by the same company (RBS or BOS/Halifax) that own tracker that demand you fit it?

While I dont have a car as new as that most people thieving a car like an Exige will know exactly the two or three places its possable to fit a tracker on the vehicle and remove it for you before its recovered
On the statistics Lotus's are amungst the least stolen vehicles~ due in no doubt partly to selling less than 4000/year and being rather too conspicious for an unnoticed getaway

Glad you managed to get one so quickly. Did you buy from Murrays in the end? Sorry can't help with your tracker question!

Murrays didnt have an exige in my budget:-( Graeme seems to be a sound guy and was very helpful unfortunately he didnt have what i was looking for....had to get it delivered from down south. Its from a lotus dealer so getting a 1 year warranty etc for a lil peace of mind.
Anyways nowhere near as nice as yours Peter:-)

You'll find that every Exige looks damn nice, no matter what spec! You'll need to post some pics up in the Gallery. Enjoy. :thumbsup

If your going to keep the car more them 3 years (like me) go for the duration option (one off payment for the duration you own the car)@ £340 in stead of £140 per year?
