SE stunt team

Post by Dominic » Wed Jun 21, 2006 9:22 pm

Have a look at this video. Quite a lot of it is fairly tame :D . Nothing in there that we could not do (except the stuff on two wheels). I do like the tyre changing trick. That would require a bit of practice

So, who is up for a Scottish Elises Stunt team?We could easily enough manage a lot of that. Thinforth? Shug? Ali? Andy?...

God, right from the mock Airwolf / Stock Aitken soundtrack it's got South Korea written all over it, and why it's all Hyundai Avante's i.e. we're a tiger economy blindly kept afloat by the world bank and have built 500,000 cars more than anyone will ever want = time for a stunt team.... that obviously goes no faster than 15 mph cause it'd take the whole runway just to get up to 45!
Honesty.... I could go on :) But watching any more of this would turn me into a fan of Monter Truckin!

Landrover is going to flip...

I would give it a go, but the Exige doesn't like to slide around!

True i think if you try to handbrake turn a landy it either snaps something or falls over, or both

But the 7 still has the happy handle

If we could assemble a suitable group of cars at some point, then find a venue we really could have a go at this.

Suitable cars; The BMW, & may be the Thinforth Caterham? Would be a starting point. I also know of some others who may me up for getting involved. I also know of the perfect venue... just need permission!

Other option for cars would be to get some old novas or fiestas, which would not matter if we trashed

Back to the thoughts of car football.....

rofl I bow down to ur late '80's pop culture knowledge! But hang on, wasn't Streethawk a low budget Airwolf anyways? (Only slightly above Automan! / Tron rip off with a car) So 'mock Airwolf' might still apply! 8)
