Im now lotusless

Post by cloggie » Thu Apr 30, 2009 7:42 pm

Decided to just bite the bullet and sell the Elise as I had only done about 50 miles in it this year :(
The funny thing is i really thought i would miss it sitting there even if i dont drive it ,
Its been over a week now and I know Ive made the right choice.
I will definately buy another one but will be an exige next ,although at this point in time there are so many other things to throw my money at (like those bloody dogs)
Anyway I was clearing out the garage and came across a couple of bits and bobs,
I have a set of black stick on badges for the wheel centres , not the actual centrecaps just the stickers .
I also have a rear grille set with round exits , not the wire mesh one off the k series but a flat black ones possibly off a 135r ??
If anyone wants them they free to a good home :D Drop me a pm
Ian

The bug will bite again... Probably sooner rather than later ;) Just make sure you've got enough to give Graham at MMC a nice deposit on that performance pack exige

Probably be a year or so before I will even think about it.
Im looking at a ban in the next few months so it wouldnt make much sense at this moment in time.
The girlfriend hated driving the elise and it as a third car so seemed pointless keeping it just for keeping it sakes as it as due a c service and a few other bits and bobs which would probably end being a can of worms knowing my luck
both the wheel caps and the grilles have been taken, if I come across any other goodies I will post them in the classifieds :thumbsup

lol, I've done 1500 miles in the Audi since the 15th of April, would of doubled it if I had a Lotus.

You'd be cheaper running a K powered Elise than that German tank
Caterham Roadsport 190
Tesla Model 3 LR RWD
Volvo XC60 - family and dug spec!
