Now this would be cool
"Tuned Lotus Exige - dumped the Lotus engine and used twin Honda CBR engines. They had 11 sec time on test runs over a quarter mile....."
That is bloody fast. I went out with Kev Sharp in his Cossie for a couple of laps around Knockhill and his Cossie was the fastest thing I have ever been around Knockhill in. It was amazing coming out of the hairpin and gunning it up the straight. He was also very quick through the corners despite the handling/braking not being quite set up idealy. His best Crail 1/4 mile was 10.437 @ 138.5 mph. Now an Exige with that sort of power would be seriosly quick.

wonder how these guy's deal with the gearing issue - you 'd have to work thru all the gears on teh way up and down - no slipping it into neutral at lights or missing a gear to same time.....
