Does anyone have a courier account?

Post by jj » Tue May 02, 2006 11:46 pm

...With parceline / parcelforce / targetet al? I am having a nightmare getting the hardtop I sold on eBay uplifted, as I have crated it it weighs about 35kg (too much for the gimps that have tried thus far to uplift it).

Seems account holders get higher kg allowances (up to 99kg with parceline) so if anyone has one and can arrange the uplift and then I`ll sort them out with the £ that would be smashing.

cheers

JJ

daft thing to say mate I'm sure; but with your business, don't your folks use courier service? If not, drop me a pm - my firm uses couriers all the time and I'm sure I could get you a preferential rate :)

best of luck mate,

Greg

If you can get an account holder to arrange it for you, as an example, my front clamshell that I bought on eBay cost £17 with TNT.

GregR - The guys we use are a small company who move aniques, and want 140 to move the roof. No chance!

tut - know any account holders ? I am not looking for a bargain, I just want it out the way as the guy is (understandably) getting a bit nippy about the delay....

cheers,

JJ

35kg
Mine weighs nothing like that amount, 10-15kg at the most I reckon!

Yeah, but the S1 example is about twice the size - it extends down the roof butresses and has the whole apparatus for holding the rear window moulded in.

And when its on the car Simon, its not wrapped in bubblewrap and put inside a timber crate....... :D

All the places I have called about opening accounts need minimum monthly orders of 30+ parcels..... All I want is rid of this bloody roof!

Anyone else got an account?

Is this something one person can pick-up! (having a f***ing nightmare with a Plasma at present)

I've got an account with City Link.

Where is it being picked up from? Might be worth PM-ing me as i'm not going to be online much today.

Guys,

Drop me a PM. I have a very very good deal with TNT. Read Tut's post above, £17 for a front clamshell from south Englandshire to ABZ for example.
