May be a spyware prog, but i've found at least some of the problem....
It appears that the HTML is getting re-written somewhere along the way, and the image tags are getting replaced with comments.... Now, this isnt an internet problem - this is somthing on your PC modifying the web site to remove the images....
For example - my line for the first advert has the tag:
<a href="467840.htm"><img src="http://images.pistonheads.com/aimg/467/467840-1t.jpg" alt="111R 3000 MILES WITH AIR CONDITIONING (Picture 1 of 6)"/></a>
where you can clearly see the <img src> tag pointing to the correct jpg file...
In your output, the <img src> tag has been completely removed and replaced with the <!-- --> comment tag...
<a href="467840.htm"><!-- --></a>
Have you installed any spyware programs recently? This really does have to be somthing on your machine causing this
