stripey car.. or pimp my ride!

Post by catrionaD » Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:47 pm

Hello.. if you don't already have stripes ie on bonnet (like the club racer), can you have them put on? if so who can do it? and how? i'd quite like white stripes.. would look neat!

A printers, someone who does names on vans etc.
do a search for sign makers

If memory serves me right you you stick them onto a soapy car this allows you to move them about a bit and possition everything without it sticking then you squeegee the soapy water out from underneath being carefull you don't get any bubbles.

sounds easy but it is a skill that requires practice

yes, steam cleaner or hairdryer and paitence takes them off but bear in mind they will protect the paintwork and after a while if you remove them you will have shiney unmarked unchipped unscratched stripes

You can take them off later.

Its not hard to apply it yourself. See ebay for different types of stripes available.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
