Gloves....

Post by Rich H » Wed Mar 29, 2006 1:44 am

I have "aquired" a pair of medium-ish, size 7 1/2, about 75-80 mm across the palm (I can get my hand it them but the fingers are a bit short) grubby but servicable white flying gloves with no holes (Apart from the ones you put your hands in )

They are exactly like the ones I use (But smaller ), very soft calf, pig or goat leather (Or something) soft and comfy.

There may well be more to follow. (Unless they notice )

1st pair FOC to who ever is most deserving/needy, discuss 8)

Wait a minute...No.

No I'm pretty sure I don't want to know. I may be scarred for life.
(They are very soft though )

If no one wants them I'll use them for working on the car, just seems a waste of a perfectly good pair.

...coincidentally, exactly what I was thinking while I was watching Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta at the flicks last night.....

Eh? We had a good one today, don't know about yesterday. The right hand gearbox on one of our jets had burned it's clutch, spilled it's guts and oil then melted. we had little rivulets of mag-alloy inside the panel  It was a gnats chuff away from fireworks.

Caused me no end of standing around drinking tea and getting oily!

The gloves depend on how often the aircrew get through them. The come second hand and in various conditions. I'll get what I can.

So Shug was first, but who is most worthy?

well, I plan to use my pair of gloves to complete my outfit for my magic shows for sick orphans. I also have a rather strange problem that most things I touch turn to sh*t, so the gloves would become a welcome barrier to my faecal trannsfer issues.

thankyouplease!
