Big thanks to Robin

Post by Stu160 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 8:53 pm

Just like to say ta to Robin for helping me find an electrical problem with my car(1 down,758 to go  )

Turns out it was a broken wire in the plug for the throttle position sensor !
Thing it was the lack of mechanical sympathy at the sprint.

Will just have to see what else it breaks at Cadwell tomorrow now,but I have it planned out, leave at 3.30 am,drive down, thrash it for as long as it lasts (more than 1 lap will be a record for this year) and then sleep on the way home in the AA truck :D

Saves on a hotel.............sweet 8)

Stu

Sounds like you have taken over from me, so maybe that is where my good luck is coming from.

Obviously the kiss of death, but since the S/C belt problem was sorted six months ago, N3 has done FF6 and loads of track days, had the bollocks thrashed off her(sic), I actually had to re-fuel three times at the Drum for KH on Sunday, and nothing passed except by consent.

I actually expect to drive home now at the end of the day, which is a new feeling, but not good news for the AA if they are on commission.
