Yep - me too

Would be a good idea to re-name the thread to say its a sign-up for another track day, just incase no-one really thinks about the Ed supercharger shocker when looking into trackday meets?

BigD wrote:Just for info MLR are trying to put together a day at EF. The only thing is they are looking for 30 to 35 cars so with so few it is a bit more expensive. They are also looking at half days. This will probably be in asscociation with SIDC as they seem to be sharing the track days now. :D 8)

See Here

I dare say if they get more numbers then the price may go down. :D 8)
I have posted on MLR to let them know of our interest.
See here for a list of interested names.

To be honest i was really happy with the way Javelin ran the day and would go back there with them in a minute. Apart from the long talk at the start, it was well run. I had some hooning/ close laps and never had any bother.

I know Ross and some of the other boys had bother with being too loud. But the limit was set at 105db, so if the cars's over that the rule's been broken. Most tracks down south run 105db limits also do they not??? :? So if a car's too loud there, it'll be too loud everywhere :? I heard the farmer was standing at the fence pointing out cars to be pulled in for noise. They were always watching the track and monitoring the numbers on it. Knockhill HM days are a shambles. Folk just do what they want most of the time and *some* of the instructors are more interested in trying to make out you haven't a clue what your on about when you talk to them. Christ, look what happened the other time when Neil was there. Alright he's a sh*t hot driver, but even folk can turn up who aren't booked on and missed the breifing and just get out on track and drive a car.

East Fortune is a far better track to drive than Kh, and if the only way i can get back on it safely and with the proper support it'll be javelin all the way for me. If the worst did happen and my brakes failed or something. I'd want to know there are trained folk in those marshal posts and an ambulance sitting ready.

If what the guy said at the start is true, then they've got it sewn up with the Melville boys anyway. After all, the club spends all that money on the new tar, they want a guarantee it'll still be good at the end of the days (read someone to hold responsible).

I'm not starting any hastle here folks, just giving my input :thumbsup

Count me in for ef from what i experianced in pax condidions was fun  Must agree with some of the comments on rules and regs.
To much noise :?: hello :? race track=fast cars=noise it would be interesting to find out some of the levels from some of the bikes around ef :?:
Also its not as if the sunday market was on that day where you may expect to have some comments !!often ones of jealousy by what i often hear when i have stood at the fence at the market.
Mags spoke David Paton of MMC and it costs £3000.00 plus £800.00
insurance but there is a worry about the track being damaged for bikes.
It would be nice to think that between us all somthing could be organised.
