If the sight and sound of the world's fastest and most desirable sports cars stirs your automotive emotions, then Knockhill Racing Circuit is the venue of choice on Sunday 14th October.

The popular Fife racing circuit, which is Scotland's national motor sport centre will host 'Supercar Sunday' with almost 10million pounds worth of the world's sexiest sports and GT cars on show and on track.

Knockhill PR Manager Ray Smith said "This is a dedicated day for the owners of some of the fastest cars that money can buy and there is a surprisingly high percentage of them right here in Scotland." Continued Ray, "Italian manufacturer Lamborghini are currently breaking all their sales targets for 2007 and the Scottish dealer is reporting doing record business so we are looking forward to seeing some of them in action on Sunday."

Other marques being put through their paces on the twisty and testing 1.3 mile British Championship race Track will include a range of stunning Ferrari's, Porsches, Bentley GT's and Maserati.

Although the day is provided predominantly for the enjoyment of enthusiastic owners, a special treat will be the lunchtime demonstration provided by Scuderia Ecosse, the West Lothian based British GT Championship winning team who will show what a race prepared Ferrari 430 GT2 car can do around Knockhill in the hands of a professional racing driver.

The glamorous day of intoxicating sights and sounds is open to the public and one lucky winner will win a free Ferrari Experience of their own as the circuit is giving away the opportunity to drive a racing red 360 Modena with instruction from a qualified race instructor.

Admission to the event is £8.00

I think I might be heading down. A mate is uninspired by his 911 Turbo purchase and is looking for something with a replacement.
