Went to see the Fratellis at the AECC last night.

Apart from the abundance of drunken kids who a) ignored the smoking ban and b) decided to throw plastic glasses full of lager or vodka red bull into the crowd, it was a cracking concert.

If you get a chance of seeing them elsewhere on this tour then do it.

Played some new stuff: one with a line which might be the title: 'she's a liar' was superb, by far their best song. Hints of Black Sabbath/Motorhead about the chorus, verse more than a hint of the Police in the drum and backline.

Not their biggest fan but was pleasantly surprised, and of course their Scottish.

heard them do a cover of "all along the watchtower" on radio 1 today...was mint!!!
