Post by Ricky_111R » Sat Sep 22, 2007 11:37 am

This may be a bit of a long shot, but has anybody in the Fife area got a set of alloys i could borrow for a few days? Getting mine powdercoated in a couple of weeks and dont have other wheels to put on her

I have a spare set for a K series S2, they'd fit but the offset on the front would be wrong and they might rub the clam if you drive it.

There is when you don't have a garage or even driveway (or 4 axle stands for that matter!

mckeann / John Reid - i'll pm you guys and get something arranged then, I haven't booked the wheels in for the powdercoating yet since I didnt have a work around for this. My dad lives in Edinburgh and travels up to Dundee fairly often so maybe I can get him to collect / return (if 4 Elise wheels will fit in a mk4 Suzuki Swift...) failing that, I have borrowed my g/fs mums A4 as a substitute car so I dont have to drive the Elise on borrowed wheels :)
