they are one make orientated but don't let that put you off. IIRC the SORC was started simply to allow any 4x4 to have fun.

There are 200 acres in Lamancha where you can go and practice your driving but never go to any of these places alone as you usually spend hours and hours recovering yourself from boggy ground and burns

I'm on the SORC forum but still to join as a full member. It was a member of SORC that I bought the car from. Also been keeping an eye on SLROC.
I've booked up for Wheels in the Woods (down by Innerleithen I think) on the 9th. Being organised by SORC. Will miss the cloggie run :(
I'll have a look at the Lamancha site, it's quite close.

"Glentarkie is good but it can get extreme quite quickly - that's where the avatar pic was taken. It took 24 hours to recover it and involved dragging it backwards on it's side for about 20 yards." Mike, looks a bit messy. I'll take care to start with :wink:

if u r not in a hurry to buy one, thinforth would be ur best bet. i have driven his landy and i quite like it. went off road with him too (with a bunch of 4X4 nutters). great fun!
