i appear to be off to a wedding in north berwick in september (ok geting dragged to a wedding in north berwick in september) ... from Dundee am i better following the edinburgh bypass then shoot along the A1 ?

Id go over the bridge, via the scenic route to the FRB. Then hope along the bypass onto the A1 and then turn off at Longniddry, following the signs! HTH cheersEd

Dundee, over the tay bridge and take the A91 via Auchtermuchty rather than the Dundee to Perth to EDI road as well!!

At longniddry, take the B1377 road to Drem, then B1345 onto North Berwick, much better than the A198 road along the coast.

....although if the roads are empty (ie. hardly ever

) staying on the A198 coast road is enjoyable (ie. either 'good to blat' or 'scenic' depending on your needs for the day

).
