Unlucky mate,I remember a car having an off on that road a few years, down hill left hander which tightens .Could have been the same corner?

The car had no cosmetic damage, until we lifted it off the concrete block he had run over, then it rolled off the bank and hit the drivers door, oops.

Also turned out he had crushed the oil pipes to cooler up front,so by the time we has drove the 2 miles to Girvin,it was rattling like mad,AA truck to MMC

The RLC gave out in Girvan :(

Fuel pump finally gave up the ghost - 3 hours for the f***ing AA to turn up,and multiple phone calls telling them to send a low loader and not a recovery van.

Got back just after 11, called them just after 5!

Hope everyone is ok, and was gutted we got split up. Was looking forward to catching up with some of the crew i hadn't seen in a while.

Thanks to Shug for valiantly trying to resurrect the RLC via conference call with Robin.

Andy

At least it went this week and not next. I presume that you will have to fit a new one, if so let me know as Craig and I fitted ours from the top and not by dropping the tank.

tut

ps send a strong letter of complaint to the AA. When they f***ed me around, they gave me a full years family Recovery Plus membership as compensation.

Will do mate - Robin and i are hoping to get to the bottom of this later.

As for the AA, i will complaining about their call centre which was a disgrace. The chap that arrived from the local garage, was brilliant though.

Graeme,

Sorry to hear about that but as everyone says the main thing is that as long as you are all right the car will get fixed. Keep your chin up mate.

Andy what a nightmare hope you get your car sorted very soon.

Your car sounded awesome especially when we went through New Galloway on that narrow street where the sound reverberated off the wee houses

My face is still red with embarrassment from the volume of it - or that could be a touch too much sun

Its getting replaced with a janspeed tonight hopefully :D

3000 miles with that sort of noise is a touch loud, and the Frenchies might fall out with me!

Anyone wants to claim the loudest most brutal S1 title - just make an offer and let me know - exhaust is in good nic!

You had all better watch out - he does have guns and will tell you he is much to young for the need for such tablets.
