Somehow I think it would take me more than 3 1/2 hours.
Got a new 3/4 plate delivered on Friday. Two days later and I've still not even got the original one off! :scratch
Not exactly what you'd call handy. Think I'm probably better getting a garage to do it.

It's easy:
1. Check it's not screwed onto the clam.
2. If it's not screwed on, grab the plate on one side and pull hard.

:)

Stephen got his off on the borders run in, oh say 0.5 second. Just find a hump backed bridge and watch the plastic fly. Or not.

Undertray off, zorst mounts off, 3 bolts, out. Sounds simple. Haynes 2 spanner job.

Reassembly is simply the reverse of removal.

Easy.

The undertray is alkward and fiddly (Not enough room for a socket screwdriver and very long bolts.)
The zorst nuts will be welded to the studs (Bolts on S2, or too much to ask?)
My mounts were bolted thru the boot floor with 3" long bolts. Took ages to undo.

Other than that nothing difficult on a new ish car.

Stop. Stop. Stop.
You're making it sound way to easy.
Had to stop myself from reaching for the plastic and just ordering one online!
Sure it would make a good ornament while I work up the courage to give it a go.

Nah, just do it, it looks lovely, mine was sat in my office for a week, stops all those boring conversations about w*rk.

Do it, you'll have the back of the car in bits in no time.

Also bear in mind I did mine in the carpark here. None of this jacking up bollocks, hardcore on a gravel car park in winter with no help.

140mm is loads, trust me.

Do it, you know you want to....
