Nice Pub In Dukes Pass Area?

Post by Ron » Wed Jul 18, 2007 12:05 pm

Greetings,

Just wondering if anyone knew of a nice country pub in and around the Dukes Pass vacinity that would be a good place to take the GF for lunch. :scratch

A beer garden would be a bonus because i've booked sunshine for the weekend. :D

Cheers

Ron :)

theres one on the main street of aberfoyle, near the public car park.

Just before you turn up the hill to go over the pass, on the left hand side. opposite the co-op.

has a beer garden aswell

When I was up in Aberfoyle earlier in the year, we stopped off in Port of Mentieth. IIRC there were 2 pubs there with beer gardens, and the food in the one we went to (can't remember the name, but something traditional like Red Lion or The Crown)

The pub that McKeann talks of is OK... Forth Inn ?? iirc.. stopped off there for some grub with the wife and kids... about half a dozen tables outside if the weather is up to it ...
