Used to be 20 minute sessions by class - problem was if, as often, there was a red flag incident 10 minutes in and that was it.

Was speaking to one of the marshals at knockers last night..
The only non-sessioned testing I have done for years is at Donington. Not many places allow open and closed wheel cars out together, except Donington. and it is £400 for a full day
I don't think it matters what side you pass on but my choice would be pass on the right so that the slower people just do their own thing. The real problem with track days is not enough use of blue flags and no-one seems to get called in for holding people up.

no idea what criteria the marshalls use for a blue flag - I suspect they have a look at the cars and guess which one ought to be faster without reference to which one actually is. That makes it difficult for our wee cars to get scoobies blue flagged (and dare I say it, even some exiges

As for this test day thing, I'd love to do that! If all we need for that is an ARDS licence I'm well up for getting hold of one. Couldn't a group of us do it, then have an S_E 'test day', thereby lancing a stack off the price of our time on KH?
As for passing on a specific side and back on topic - I'm not too fussed
