IS THERE ANYTHING ACTUALLY WRONG WITH THE RACE TECH APART FROM BEING THE BASIC MODEL?

I JUST LOVE THE LOOK OF IT, AND IT IS ONLY FOR THE WEEKEND
RACE TECH ISNT THE BASE MODEL, IT WAS ONE OF TWO OPTIONAL PACKS; SPORTS TOURER AND RACE TECH.

They are offering £1500 off the car and then the trade price for the spitfire. I've now got the spitfire on pistonheads, if anyone is interested

Hmm, tbh, i dont know much about your car. Is that going rate? Even if you managed to sell it privately from more the trade im sure you could get a better deal with cash. I have bought from a stealer and would have saved alot of cash if i had bought privately. Do you not prefer the 111s wheels?! I think you would also miss that extra bit of power that you had with your 111s. Also watch the so called "warranty" as they generally dont cover much unless they are Lotus approved. At the end of the day though whatever you buy you will love! Good luck! :thumbsup

my car has an insurance valuation of £6500. I would take £5500 as a private sale, but I have got just 1 month to sell it before I get the Lotus. I think the power on the Lotus will be a great deal more than the granny wagon spitfire. The 111s was a lovely but it was my main car at that time. I've now got 2 kiddies and a new Disco 3 so my priority is to just get back into a Lotus.
