Exporting an Elise/Exige...

Post by sonicrisk » Thu Jun 14, 2007 1:39 pm

Just a thought, has anyone here exported a Lotus from the UK to a country where there are no Lotus dealers???

What sort of costs would be involved in shipping?

Would it be a ridiculously bad move in terms of maintenance etc?

Any input greatly appreciated thanks,

.nick

No personal experience- but it will very much depend on where you want ot export it to - each country will have it's own regs re taxes, Mot, etc, etc.

I'm sure someone with a clue may be along shortly!

Hey Mac, just exploring my options on the job front, REALLY like the idea of having the ONLY one in the country. REALLY dislike the problems that may bring!!!
