Windscreens!!! Grrrrrr!!!!

Post by renmure » Tue Jun 12, 2007 12:51 pm

How F*^%$^ing unlucky..

Just before going on hols the MINI windscreen smashed when a Pheasant flew into it.... THUMP.. CRACK Suppose its a hazzard of countryside living and was replaced by RAC/Autoglass fairly straight forwardly. :(

Yesterday, one day back from hols and the same thing happened again, this time in the Shogun. Different road, different pheasant... same effect. THUMP.. CRACK. Due to be replaced by Autoglass on thursday. :( :(

Today, within an hour of arranging for the Shogun one to be replaced, I took the exige 4 miles down the road to the shop and ... CRACK!!.. a stone thrown up by a car coming the opposite direction has chipped the windscreen. Its in the corner of the screen and hopefully can be repaired on thurs when the guy is out here replacing the other one. :( :( :(

... lucky white heather....

Count yourself lucky.

Lotus have no 340r windscreens left

One of the guys has got 30 to 40 340r owners together to make a batch. I now have a spare.

I wonder what would happen if I called my insurance company up and asked them to replace it?

Originaly they were 1k each

I was on a warm up lap, by warmign my car gently on the first lap I get to enjoy my car for longer periods and it also permits me to go on nice holidays etc rather than sending Dan on Carribean trips 3 times a year.

I believe these are both yours
