Better luck next time, Dave!

Robin,
Where do i start mate....maybe first by saying a massive thank you for lending me EGOR, what a car, there was not much getting by me on track, a few Caterhams, the black S2 exigeS, but it just held the track like it was stuck on. A very well set up car indeed. I was very nervous, very nervous indeed, but 2 laps in and i was mixing it up, and getting my old confidence back. Tried some heel and toe, but it had been too long and gave up - some practice needed!
As for the broken items in question, I came into duffus in the last 5-10mins sesh (apologies for spoiling it for everyone!

) but something just went crack, a wobbly rear end nearly sent me off, but caught it, and then smoke entering cabin signaled game over! Pulled over, and having thought it was a blown tyre, it turned out to be serious - the guy laughed as i think i went white, and held my head in my hand, and said to him....F*ck what am i going to tell Robin, he then said "What...it's not your car!!!"
Anyway, Robin, please just let me know what needs done and i will cover any expense, not to mention the new rear tyre, as it was nearly new and took a bit of beating....
Also, I really want to thank Tut again for letting me on in Robin's space, and perhaps more importantly for calming me down - Stephen, Stu and Shug for their technical input and for checking it out, Stephen again for the thought of trying to get it fixed, and Ed for calming my nerves that Robin wasn't loosing the plot, George and Son for sticking around again for moral support and tool, and most of all Sanjoy came to the rescue with the AA flatbed!!!
Boys - Thanks very much!!!!!!
Dave
