I can't figure out where this is from.
It says that they are heading towards the chicane but that would mean that they are running the circuit in reverse. Any ideas?

It's taken from the outside of the circuit at the entry to Butchers going towards the chicane.

so it is....
Couldn't quite work out the angle. Seemed to severe an angle going into the chicane.

Just found a cracking old video from that site of a guy lapping the old Ingliston circuit. Some mental driving towards the end!

Is the circuit still in as good a condition as appears in the video? Would like to drive it.

Afraid not..... the old circuit doesn't have any armco any more and they have build a grandstand over the old start finish straight.
It's a shame because that's where my dad always took me when I was young and I always wanted to drive it myself.
If you look at the track bit on the website
http://www.ingliston-circuit.co.uk/html/track.html you'll see that they've ruined it!

tut, you can come and drive part of it at the next TRS sprint day.

There's a sprint to be held there this year tut - not officially part of the Scottish Sprint championship this year but they are keeping an eye on proceeding to see if it would a viable addition to next seasons calendar.
I should mention that this is a fully MSA approved event, rather than a private circuit hire.

Does that mean mac that I could enter in whatever Class, and as it is not official, without a current NAT A licence?

Afraid not - you could maybe talk nice to Kenny to see if the TRS boys would let you play but this is a full bhoona MSA event so you would need a license, and all the kit compliant with the current regs. I have heard that there might be a road libre class this year which might take in your car, but I'm not sure about that.
What I was meaning was that it doesn't count towards the main Scottish Speed championship (or is it the Scottish Sprint - I get confused between the two)
I'm considering doing it in the elise as I think it needs to be done and I hope not to have the caterham by then.

I'll be there in my VX.
It's a round of the SBD British Sprint Championship. For me it is also a round of the Lowland Speed Championship and the Wigton Northern Speed Championship.
