Scottish Elises

This just in to the Mods, from the boffins at Lotus, Hethel:

I'm extending an invitation for 1 person to visit the Lotus Factory in Hethel on the 27th April, also pop into Classic Team Lotus and see Clive and what he gets up to.

You'll get to meet the senior team in place at Lotus, view the new cars, get some time on the new track in current cars inc Evora S, view the production areas, have a Q&A with Dany Bahar etc.

Then you'll be transported to Oxfordshire should you require a lift and the next day get a VIP tour of the Lotus Renault GP F1 factory. This is a strictly limited numbers event and I've heard nothing but good about the Scottish Elise gang so wanted to get one of you guys along.

Quite an opportunity for us. In the spirit of true fairness, this will be a "name out of the hat" job.

They need a quick response however.

So, nominate yourself by noon tomorrow, Thursday 24th March, when the draw will be made and the lucky winner announced

Neither of you is allowed to assassinate Scott before the event, you understand



The draw was conducted at 12.50pm under strictly controlled conditions in my office at Edinburgh Park, with witnesses, and the draw itself was made by my colleague Norman Brown. All kosher therefore.

Thanks to everyone for your interest, 24 nominations was good going in a 24 hour period and I've been nearly as excited as all the rest of you.

What a great opportunity, hope it goes well.

Not sure if they'll allow cameras in Hethel? I remember having to surrender out phones when AliC and me picked up tyres there a few years ago. Hope they relax it for the day.
