Found out yesterday that Clarke Motorsport in Kintore have taken delivery of a new Hunter 4 wheel alignment rig. So at least now there is somewhere in the NE to get a decent geo done assuming they know how to use it. A mate has just had his Evo done so will try to find out how it went and costs.

We use a plank of wood off the fence behind the garage.
Would be interesting to see what his pricing is like, don't think there's much to worry about competancy, Barry knows his stuff!

I'm not surprised Craig the Cateham going up their next week , the twisted stick must be to fault as to why it goes from oaktree to garden gate sideways

Finally dropped into Clark Motorsport today for a chat and to find out what they are all about. Spent a while chatting with Graham Clark and had a walk round their workshop. Having never seen a Hunter 4 wheel alignment rig before I have to admit I was a bit blown away by it. Looks, to all intents and purposes like a 4 post ramp. Can give you a read out of all the cars geometry, castor, chamber, toe etc and also very accurate and quick.
Prices are pretty reasonable, To put your car on it and have a check done is £65+vat. This will give you a print out of all the settings currently on the car. If you want or need anything changing then it's £10 per setting change. So all in all pretty good and a damn sight better than your local Kwik Fit screwing up your toe settings.
Graham also mentioned that they are quite prepared to do club days, much like the Rolling Road day we did at Coach House, if there is enough interest. No word on priced for that but if enough people want to get their cars checked out I will get back in touch with him and sort out costs and a date.

Caterham went up on Tuesday....were really happy with the service that we got.
A friend had his Integra Hillclimb Car corner weighted there a few weeks back and they got it within 1kg all round!!!
