Well, we pulled it off. I have a good team around me, and in Crystal Events, we had a very kind events company to help out with the food and drink. Louise should get massive praise for making it go so smoothly.

All our suppliers, friends, contacts who put up prizes also deserve a big :thumbsup

Shooomer/Paul A (Coffee Republic) took the time out on Thursday to drop off cokes, cakes, crisps despite being buried with work, and he couldnt even attend the event - real shame, and hugely appreciated :thumbsup

Shug, Clare and Gill made sure the raffle and auction went as well as it did, as i was running about everywhere!

Frantic, esepcially as Shug has been on the road for the last 2 weeks, and I've just got back from iFA in Berlin this afternoon.

Scotty, Walshy, Em, Clare and Louise all helped massively with the Saturday clean-up, which we finished at 5pm.....and then headed out

Havent had a second to work out how much we've raised yet, but there were some cracking results. I'll get a list up of who owes what soon.

Big thanks to everyone to making it such a fun event, although i dont think I've ever seen so many people wasted before :damnfunny I couldnt believe that over 400 bottles of beer went, god knows how many cases of wine, and some amount of Whisky!

Next year i think will see a different slant on the event, as my house is now about to get redecorated and i dont think my new carpets need 100 people walking over them!

The good news is, I've already had a word about a new venue, and its going to be awesome.

Massive thanks to everyone involved, it was a truly awesome day/night! Pax laps in the 430/360 were brill. I had a great time on track, even after Ed nearly got us us thrown off for spinning and then giving a marshall (actually Dave Rag_it) the finger. BBQ was great as always, with massive thanks to all the girls for keeping everyone topped up :tard . Plenty of quality banter  . Won't forget the sight of Mckeann trying to neck a bottle of Highland Park for a long while (he couldn't even manage with two attempts... what a lightweight  )

Looking forward to hearing about next year's event/venue :D :thumbsup

Wow guys - sorry I've been MIA, as I've been travelling the country for work before and after (I had to cancel a day to come back up to do the trackday) Just back in front of the PC today.

Where to start...

Everybody that donated and turned up - just thanks. It was an awesome turnout and the trackday was a great laugh for starters - very little traffic and brilliant track manners all day. Any red flags were very short and quickly tidied up.

KH did us proud and I was quite sceptical we'd get our full duration, but they did not flag us a second early, despite the GT guys waiting to get on to test.

Everyone that donated for a pax lap - huge thanks and I hope you enjoyed it!

To Mads, Mass, Steve, Scotty and Mr G - top work with the pax laps, a huge money-spinner and some spectacular memories for some of the attendees - several people have indicated that it's been a dream come true.

John Reid - "Voice of KH" for the day - cheers mate for keeping the pax laps flowing and organised. :thumbsup

Walshy, for coming up and providing some training gratis, and also to provide a bonus Auction prize (ask Ed!) Plus, lets be honest, it's not a party without Mr Walsh these days, now is it! 8)

For the Party - Andy has said thankyous to the catering team and to Paula for the drinks and snacks - but wholeheartedly seconded, what a great night!

To Claire and Gill for the able assistance in the auction and raffle - top work :cheers

Adam - for photo duties during the day and those just amazing prints - I've still got mine at Andy's, but Elaine will bloody love it! Adam will be posting some of the official shots to purchase in about 3 weeks - sadly his house move means his internet connection is still awaiting activation.

In fact, every single person that donated a prize, gift or award - including MMC, Diageo, Haggis Catcher and countless others - the money raised is just amazing - down to your generosity!

The pished posse for making the evening painfully funny - McApe's demands to Dom about painting him naked with the car (whilst biting his head) will go with me to my grave :damnfunny

Finally to Andy G for being mental enough to suggest not only that we should do it again this year (despite this recession) but also that we should aim to totally destroy any records set last year (which we've done to an almost embarrassing degree) Top man!

Thank you all and here's looking forward to an even better one next year!

That was a cheeky one from one of the race teams - they did a couple of laps to see how quick we were going (threw some money in the pot for the privilege)

I think they had a word with Alan at KH who was in charge and he said they could do a couple of laps to see what the track was like - they donated for the cause.

They came and asked me if it was okay as they had 2 drivers that had never done KH and were racing in the GT Cup. Thought it would be fine for a donation, although Avensis boy had a Q by the time i caught him up :damnfunny
