Confused.com came up with a few suggestions. Kwick Fit was the cheapest at £500 and thats with 8 points and not garaged at night.

You could try A-Plan for a starting point (I went with them)
Also try Adrain Flux
Competition Car Insurance
Heritage

that's the usual suspects I think
....

I actually got Direct Line (online) to within £50 of my current policy via A-Plan... so they might be worth a bash also...

Thanks guys

I've had 2 quotes good quotes and the rest all stupid.
A Plan £459
Adrian Flux £475
I'm only using this as a 2nd car and only have 1 yr NCB to apply. I also 29 so don't think that's too bad is it?

Well your A-plan quote is lower than ours (A-plan also)... and my wife insured that with Full NCB and limited to 6K miles p/a... plus, we are mid 30's...

So, not too bad.

A-plan just got my business yet again at an incredible £412 for the Ferrari after I called them. Their original quote was £560 but they seemed happy to chat about things and to hunt around for special offers. No experience (touch wood) of their claims department but happy to recommend them.

What age are you and how long you been driving? What mileage you put down and what value? What about Excess?

And lastly, how the heck do you get 8 points? I thought they came in multiples of 3!

Sorry for all the questions,

Gary.

4pts for some offences. I was on 10 points for a while - that focuses the mind....

Try Greenlight insurance. Beat everyone else by several hundred pounds for me and they replace mods like for like. You can also add trackdays on for £50 a time and all they do is double your excess. :thumbsup
