admiral insurance mods - what is an induction kit ?

Hi,

Running through a few insurance quotes.

At admiral the options bwlow are listed in the "modifications" section.

What does an "induction kit" come under ?

That will be £19.31 Sir.

Just paid then that last week. Only they/I wrote the car off back in November

:) was about £10 extra for me .... and you dont get the cash back for mods i believe !

No you don't. They will just pay for an OEM replacement. :?

Just got knocked back from them.

"Sorry Sir Alu parts make the the car more powerful and faster so on this instance we cannot insure you."

That was after I mentioned the VVC plenum chamber, went on to ask about the S2 suspension, "That would be a definate decline too as if it were an upgrade rather than a replacement for current model equipment".

Riiiiiiiiiiiight.
