Booked my insurance for the rev limits tracknight tomorrow a couple of days ago only to be sent e-mail today saying they will no longer cover me for trackdays.
Needless to say not impressed especially as I haven't even reached the 6 trackdays they specify in the policy (was always dubious of the unlimited cover however that's what was promised)

Would be great full to know if anyone else is having issues with them?

I've not made any insurance claims through them or any other insurance company in 10 years Steve.
Apparently one of their customers wrote off two cars on track in one year having done 10 trackdays so they are now reducing it back to 5 track days a year and apparently I've used my quota for the year.

I normally get mine through Moris, had a quote from them which needed dates changed to match the changes in track days I'm doing only to find out after chasing them since last week that they had to change underwriter and couldnt provide anyone any cover for the moment. Forced me to have to go via insuremytrackday.com today to sort out new insurance which cost me significantly more. I'm not best pleased about it but it was either that or I wasn't risking my car on track.

Twice is downright careless!

Specialist track day insurance is always to hand - that's what I used to go with anyway. £100 a time or thereabouts with REIS.

Simon, if you put the value of the car at £40k or less on insuremytrackday.com you will get an instant quote online. If you do it as more than £40k it goes for referral. As I had my details already on their site I did it while I was talking to the guy on the phone so as soon as it went to referral he approved it to send out a quote.

I'm also getting a quote for 9 track days from them this year so hopefully it won't cost me an arm and a leg as Moris was always significantly cheaper than everyone else for me last year by a good 30-40%.

£209 from insuremytrackday.com to cover a 2 hour track session seems a bit excessive to me, might just have to give tomorrow a miss

I think I have done around 20 this year, with donnington next week, I haven't called yet, so will soon find out.

Bummer if he has changed it, it was a good deal , for me anyway.
