Direct Line Have Doubled My Evora Premium

Just got my insurance renewal through for the Evora S. Direct Line have more than doubled the premium, though nothing has changed. Phoned them and could only get £100 quid off.

Comparison sites give Hastings Direct as lowest price and rest are over £1k which is mental. Anybody had experience of Hastings?

I will contact Hendersons, Reis and other suspects. Any other recommendations from recent experience?

Are insurance premiums going up or is it just me? Ta.

TBH it's a bloody lottery. One provider good for one, will not necessarily be good for another.

Do the legwork and reap the reward.

We had this one year with Direct line and actually cancelled our policy to re-aply to direct line saving almost £100. We then complained how ludicrous it was and have to say now the annual renewal quotes are very competitive.

Strange. My premiums have never been cheaper. Quoted £176 on the elise this year with Aviva including adding Joanna on.

Remember and buy via quidco if you can, Aviva were doing £50 cash back on top of that quote to take it to £126.

Top tip ta: I have just got a quote online from Direct Line and its £30 more than last year. Can live with that . Assume I can buy online and its above board?

Have been quite happy with Direct Line, great service up until now.

Shall see how the other quotes come back.

Clear your cookies & buy it via quidco & it'll probably end up being less then. :thumbsup

Do they do a special 0 mile driveway policy?
