..oh, and one other thing, can you use a shower cap without having the roof off??
Cheers,

Thanks a lot. I take it my 06 111R is a short-roof???whaleys wrote:Oh and some of the other "alternative" shower caps will have straps that attach to various places. Have seen some that have a cord that attaches to the base of the doors. The elise parts one has little clips that go around the wing mirror base, good as there are no bits to flap in the wind and rub on the bodywork.
I have a proper tailored Outdoor cover for an elise (even has ELISE on the front). It has been tucked up in my garage for a few months. I dont want to sell it (I am a bit of a hoarder!!!) but you are welcome to borrow it for a few months to let you decide if its worth spending your own cash. Think mine was about 180 quid new ( http://www.hangar111.com/ckshop.php?item=351 )PaoloMcFoulo wrote:Hi, I had a search around and all the posts seem quite old. Can anyone recommend a good outdoor cover for an S2 Elise? One that's not going to damage clean paintwork??

It will still be tucked up in the garage.
I must have gone out with some posh weegie birds cause none of them ever did a poop on a car. Well .... not without me asking politely
Hi Graeme, I got a shower cap and tried it today. Doesn't fit quite as snuggly as I thought it would.Fitting round the wing mirrors is fine but what / how is the best way to secure it towards the back of the car?? Any tips??whaleys wrote:Oh and some of the other "alternative" shower caps will have straps that attach to various places. Have seen some that have a cord that attaches to the base of the doors.
