We had some fun at Lawrence's yesterday, in an impromptu "Spanners and sponges".

Robin brought his "Exige formerly known as orange" and I had a go at restoring it to its former glory.

Unrecognisable!

Top tips from Lawrence:

- always wash from the top down
- use a tall bucket (helps the silt sink well to the bottom)
- rinse the sponge well along the way
- stop before getting to the grimy areas and hose well as you go
- wipe the grimiest areas only once before rinsing both the area and the sponge

You can see the difference!

Someone has rubbed gravel all over the front of my car  There are now some interesting scrapes that I guess I'm stuck with, unless any of these sherbert treats you lot speak of can cover over (or melt away) scuffs & scrapes?

Is it just the laquer or the paint that's scraped?

Laquer ones are easy to fix with autoglym et all

I've been pretty timpressed by the Meguires range. Worth claying it also to remopve the blemishes and other sh*t that attaches itself if you are going to go for a big clean :D

The only sponge Shug has is his liver :D :D
