Wheel refurb - In Dundee

Post by Corranga » Sat Aug 11, 2007 7:44 pm

I'm coming up for tyre replacement, and was thinking it might be time to have my wheels powder coated black since the tyres have to be removed anyway and the paint is a bit scratched on a couple of them.

I've seen a few places recommended in Glasgow, but don't really have a way of storing a car with no wheels, nor do I really fancy going down to Glasgow twice to get take / collect the car.

Any ideas of where is local, and close, reliable, and how much i'll be looking at!

I think Coatech (Carnoustie?) in the Angus place of choice. No personal experience, I took mine to a place in Glenrothes.

Yip. Coatech have done a few of mine. No bad experiences and would / will use them again.

On a silver car?! ;)

I thought about red (to match the leather) but i'm not so sure.

I was thinking of getting the rear diffuser done black too, but again on the silver car i'm not so sure (plus it only seems to be S2 owners that get them done!

Will look into Coatech soon as I ordered 4 Toyos yesterday, thanks guys :)
