Re: Does anyone have an S2 111R wheel for sale?

Hi thank you massively for making contact. I am in Argyll so not exactly next door to you (!!) but if the wheel is the right one I will come and collect it from you and of course will make the charitable donation ............ Mine is the eight spoke one and I believe is compatible with a Rover wheel...

Does anyone have an S2 111R wheel for sale?

Hi, my Elise has a fractured rear wheel (Argyll potholes!), which now explains the slow puncture.

Does anyone have an eight spoke wheel to sell?

Does anyone have experience of getting wheels repaired?

thanks B

Re: central locking problem

Thanks for that - We had a lot of "weather" - drove from Argyll to the Lakes, onward to the Midlands, home via the Cat and Fiddle pass in the Derbyshire peaks and Dumfries and Galloway. I guess the Elise isn't designed for all year use......... coming up the M6 on Thursday was like driving in a car ...

central locking problem

Hi folks I have an 111R and suddenly the central locking has started to give problems. I press the lock button on the fob, the car locks but a few seconds later the car makes a high pitched squeal for a few seconds. Left locked like this, the car alarm then goes off. I was able (400 miles from home)...

Re: Big thanks to Tut and Verian

Can I add my thanks to Tut for a brilliant first Tut Towers weekend, wish i could have been at the whole thing but both my son Iain and I had a ball at KH anyway. It was his 24th birthday, KH was his present from me (along with getting him on the 111R insurance for the year)and he said he had had th...

Re: New and very happy Lotus owner saying hi!

Hi and welcome, I've had my 111R for 4 weeks. Thrilled with the car. Just back from the Tuttowers track day at Knockhill , all the SE folks there mega helpful. Heh what's the Aberdeen Elise deal - anyone else from the west coast or Argyll out there, it's a long way to Aberdeen from here!

From another Newbie, welcome. :welcome
Got my first Elise 8 days ago, an 111R and am delighted with it. I'm based on the West Coast. Went to Dumfries and galloway last weekend in the sunshine both ways. 8)
Looking forward to meeting others from SE.

Re: Lotus accessories

Thanks for replies - look forward to getting the Christmas tree in the car, that'll needle a few I'm sure. With £20 off a £50 spend at Bookers it was interesting choosing wisely - dense expensive stuff, not paper roll and loo roll. At least the shopping doesn't make comments ....... Just back from a...

In my opinion (and anyone is entitled to my opinion) golf clubs, as mentioned by you, are as sad as shopping bags

Lotus accessories

Hi all, after my first post, an update. Collected the 111R from Stuart on Wednesday, brought it (in the wet) safely home. And love it , just love it. A Pure indulgence, this car has to be slightly practical, so we collected 40 kgs of B&B laundry yesterday, neatly strapped into the passenger seat. To...

Hi Duggie
thanks for taking the trouble to reply. You are quite right I am from Tayvallich, centre of the universe, glad you have such good memories. It is surprising how many people have been here for holidays and remember it so fondly.

Buying an S2 Elise

After the 3 or more years dreaming, comes the reality, I am getting my first Elise (55 plate) next week. Anything I should particularly ask to be shown, explained? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks, looking forward to driving it on the west coast, hopefully to Italy in the Autumn and track days.
