And the last thing in the world i am is elitist, I was brought up on a council estate in yorkshire where we didnt know where our next meal was coming from which...

Re: Watch lovers?

this looks like an interesting thread. I have a quite a few watches in my collection but won't say what they are, as i don't have any photos of them to plaster all over the forum and will therefore no doubt be ridiculed as being a bullshytter

Re: first drive in my 2 11

hmm ok so this appears to be the logic of the small minded..if a guy comes along with a better car than you but cant provide a catalouge of photographic evidence to prove ownership then he is a troll and must surely be making the whole thing up? i have been driving for 22 years and never taken pictu...

Re: Oh Oh I think the drugs are affecting me!

the GP is a great car mate. a lot more talented than you might imagine given its humble beginnings. I ran one for over a year (thats a long time by my standards  ) and loved it.

Re: first drive in my 2 11

cheers guys great advice, the tyres are quite new i think so tht might be the problem combined with salt on the roads. will check the tyre pressures and keep an eye on them and if that fails get the geo looked at. as i will be using the car mainly as a road car, do you think it would be worth swappi...

first drive in my 2 11

well took her out today for the first time and have mixed feelings. Snug and cosy cockpit which i was not expecting. Gearbox annoying at low speed but sensational when pushing on. Steering sublime probably the best i have experiencad. Not much grip though even after warming the tyres. Do you guys ha...

Re: Car choice dilemma -SLC

Boxster does have the x factor but its one of those cars that seems a bit ordinary on first acquaintance. But once you have cloaked up a few miles, hit the rev limiter in 1st,2nd,3rd,4th, went sideways round a few roundabouts and barrelled it down your favourite B road it starts to reveal hidden tal...

Today was a good day

well mixed emotions but a good day overall. Handed over the 360CS today. Friggin awesome that car was and I will miss it sorely. But the consolation prize in it's place in the garage sits another italian stallion, this one made in honour of a certain mr balboni. I have just spent .1 hour in the gara...

Re: Car choice dilemma -SLC

Must admit when I read the first post my first reaction was "Boxster". I have a 2.7 987 245bhp and rate it above my GT2. Supreme all round car and it tracks suprisingly well. Perfect power/performance/grip combination for day to day use my advice would be to go for a test drive you might just be sup...

Re: Ooops I did it again

A cautionary tale on the RS. I took delivery of a white one last year, from the very first consignment shipped to the UK. After 1 month and 2000 miles it needed new front tyres   and had been averaging 15mpg. Also it torque steers like sh*t, despite what the car mags might tell you. OK...

Re: How do I book Knockhill ?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tend not to do public trackdays anymore after some complete numpty wrote off a very dear to my heart Ford RS200 I had a few years back (it was his fault honest :blackeye ) and also time constraints due to work commitments make it hard for me to book ahead for stuff li...
