Re: Timber Garages - any recommendations
We built a 6 x 4 m cabin this year from Dunster House. Would totally recommend them.. Quality was good, Delivery was fuss free.. all the required bits were there with a couple of spares and the instructions were reasonably clear. Get a local bricky to build you the base. then buy the Garage and put ...

Re: Washer Jets
Dunno But a good while ago i added the citroen BX spraybar thing to the improved S2 wiper arm, and left the old ones teed in and they work really well as a sort of combined effort. there is also a wire you can snip that removes the 4 or 5 compulsory wipes when washing which works for me. (i know thi...

i find them really good to deal with.

Re: Reccomended procedure for Lambda sensor change

I recon they started with the lambda and built the car around it. Still, emmissions now low enough to blag an MOT..... biscuit boost.... :dr...

Re: Thinking of buying a 2005 VW Touareg?
Also wondering if I would be stuck with main VW dealer to fix if anything went wrong. Are there any VW Touareg specialist around Aberdeenshire area? I've never heard a good word re bavaria and the abz volks centre is not a cheap option. i've used hawco peterhead for the last 7 years and would recco...

Would suggest contacting JPKenny as i know they are proactively looking at conversion courses for adjusting technical personnel from other industries to Oil and Gas (particularly Subsea). Technip is another global company that I know are proactive about conversion, also try Subsea 7 Also there are a...

If i'm not using my car for more than a week due to holidays or working away I always disconnect the battery to stop the immobiliser/alarm killing it. Just fitted one of those dis car nect battery isolators. was about £7 off ebay, took me 10mins to fit and makes the disconnection process so much qui...
