The heater has just packed up on my 2002 Elise. It had been running on just 3rd speed until last night when it gave up altogether. Ali had already told me that to fx it so that it works on all 3 speeds would need a new resister pack (?) and to get at this he would need to take the front clam off !!!...

Sorry Tut have found the no. for REIS on Google - they are both (RESIS and CCI) in Nottingham it would appear. So the main question still is do I have to say I track the car even though I do not ?

Has anyone else had a hike in their insurance recently ? I had my renewal premium for both the saloon ( a 2003 Lexus IS200) and the Elise (a 2002 111S) the other day. Thanks for the info. I'll check with Murrays to see if its the same one and will speak to Brian (Ali's mate who deals with air con) about whether the unit can be tested off the car.

Does anyone know where I might get a compressor for the air con unit for my 2002 Elise ? New ones are about £300 / £350 I believe so I would be looking to spend a good deal less than that.

I have a standard Mark 2 Elise Clarion radio / CD player which I do not need.

These did cost about £135 from Lotus.
