Regret selling?
Hey Guys, I know only I can answer this question but perhaps there is something to be learned from other viewpoints/experiences! I've owned my Elise for about 8 years now, taken it round Scotland, Northern Ireland and France... it's even in our wedding album! We have a 16 month year old and I've got...

Edinburgh Evoras
Passed and waved at a lovely red Evora on West Coates yesterday at 545ish in my Elise
and also saw a white Evora on Semple Street (but I was on foot).
Also spotted a blue Evora in the morning!

Re: S2 Starting issues continued...
Has anyone ever found a definitive answer to the cause of this issue? It seems to be quite common from the searching I’ve done but there never seems to be a consistent resolution. My Elise has been intermittently starting for a while until yesterday when it refused to start. My MFRU should be ok as ...

Re: Black s2 in kirkliston.
Ah yes, I know where you are, I spotted your Elise one time when our house was being built and we used to drive up your side to check the progress from the back (which you are probably sick of people doing!). Move went well thanks, we came from a one bedroom flat in town so rattling around a bit now...

Re: Black s2 in kirkliston.

Are you near by? I did spot another S2 a few months ago (black or nightfall blue) but haven't seen it since.

Wanted - Rover S2 Fuel Tank
***Douglas Valley Breakers to the rescue. No longer in need of a tank.*** Hi, If anyone has a fuel tank for a Rover engined S2 Elise in decent condition I would be happy to take it off your hands! The tank on my S2 111S has corroded at the fuel filler neck and needs a replacement to get it sorted. I...

Re: Central Locking Gubbed
Funnily enough, after bringing my car out of hibernation today I experienced exactly the same thing in Tesco car park! Luckily enough the AA were able to quickly gain access and i'm on manual lock mode now too. Cheapest place for the CDL unit appears to be here at £63.55... http://www.sjsport...

If you take the new ferry from Cairnryan you will have no issues, you barely notice there is a ramp on!

Unfortunately Keith Amor won't be racing the NW this year, he's doing some 24 hour Honda thing in Spain.
Shame, I always like to cheer on the Scotsman!

Re: AA P&L
Your other option is the guy I got to fix my wonky mileage after a jump start. He's mobile in Edinburgh so you'd probably have to bring your car down but he asked me what number I wanted and said he usually sorts the Stack units... Robin's option looks cheaper though as he charged around 100 notes. ...

Re: Ticking dash and mileage correction
Collected the MFRU fresh from Eliseparts tonight. Dowsed the plug in electrical contact cleaner and gave it a bit of a soak, let it dry/shook off excess, repeat, repeat, repeat... Plugged it back in, jumped in the hot seat, turned the key... dash lit up....... fuel pump whired and engine fired up!!!...

Re: Ticking dash and mileage correction
My local motor factors and Murrays don't have stock of any MFRU's so had to order it online, got a delivery slip thing from royal mail today so hopefully I'll be up and running tomorrow! I'd have been quicker going with the 13 year old Freelander MFRU at this rate! A few years ago - the bloke ...

Re: Ticking dash and mileage correction
No worries. I'm assuming that you aren't going to buy a 13 year old second hand MFRU off ebay? A new one from Eliseparts is only 35+VAT+Shipping and I would think that the local motor factors or MMC ought to be able to supply one at around the same money. It cannot be worth buying an old one (who k...
