Re: Tut's funeral
Hey Cowan, great to hear from you. There was many a pic of your old car in the slideshow today. He did you proud! Hope all well with you and yours. Campbell Hi Campbell, I never had to search long on the net to find N3! I gather today was very much a celebration of his life with a fitting send off ...

Re: Tut's funeral
Hello all, I've been out of touch with the Lotus community for more than 6 years now, however I just found out through a Facebook post from Scott Robson that Tut had sadly passed away. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I only met him on a number of occasions, but enough to know that ...

Re: Views on Independence.
You're a very well informed and intelligent bunch and I've read some excellent posts, but are any of you in retail and have an online presence ? This is an increasingly common business model which has not only saved many sme, but allowed them to flourish. A yes vote could potentially mean cutting of...

Re: F-Type Coupe
Porsche really struggled to sell the 991 and heavily incentivised the finance deals to get them moving. Love the F type coupe. Cayman now being regarded as the best car Porsche makes probably doesn't help.. F type a bit too fussy in the styling department and far too expensive IMHO. Sound from the ...

Re: Return from the dark side
The only failure I encountered in 29k was a leaking air con pipe which was quite common apparently. Probably because it never got used that often. The spec of mine was slightly odd in that it had manually operated windows. Apart from that it had the sport pack and a soft top conversion which I had d...

Re: Return from the dark side
Just got a letter this week asking me to verify the mileage on a 2007 exige s (56) in graphite grey which I owned until 2010. Have tried looking online to see if it's for sale again anywhere through a dealer without succes so far. It'll probably have 35 to 40k on the clock by now ( I did 29k) Just t...

Re: Tour de France
Assumptions are being made based on the calculations made by an ex Festina team boss who says that the effort required to climb at the rate Froome did would mean he averaged 460kw which is only comparable to Armstrong, Pantani and to a lesser extent Ulrich.. All dopers. However someone did point out...

Re: Tour de France
..unfortunately French newspaper Le Monde just had to print an article comparing past doping induced performances with Froome's effort the other day. Not surprising for a number of reasons, however lets hope there aren't any serious doping allegations to contend with this year.

Having an Internet (and soon mail order) business based in Scotland with 80% of trade coming from England.. I'm somewhat worried at the prospect of a yes vote. Purely from a personal opinion and perspective of course. I've already experienced a growing number of English customers who are openly prep...
