Won't miss you if I see you!

Well done sir 8)
I also bought an orange Beenie Hat to keep my lugs cozy. Felt a bit self conscious wearing it in the McLaren but should be ok in this …. I think.

I bought a black one for the Mac instead so I can slip under the radar

A Newbie..... again

Hmmm, after 2 previous Elises, 2 Exiges and 3 Esprits I'm not sure how much of a Newbie I am. But, hey... I did a thing again and it's good to be back, :blackeye https://forums-images.pistonheads.com/50754/202604217507734 https://forums-images.pistonheads.com/50754/202604217512241 https://forums-ima...

Re: Powdercoaters in Fife?

werestorealloys.co.uk in Kirkcaldy. No personal experience, but they have been around for a while now. I'm sure my father-in-law used them for diamond cut wheels and they did a good job. I've just used their Dundee branch to change the colour of my 600LT alloys and also to repair a chip on a Strato...

Re: Leccy cars

I really struggle with its styling, and same with the Emeya. Haven't seen them in the flesh but they're clearly not for the UK market. Styling and size for the wealthy Chinese :| Shows how far my interest in electric cars is behind the curve but I'd not heard of either of them and had to revert to ...

That looks fab. 8) 8)
I genuinely don't think I've ever seen one in any colour other than blue, to the point that I probably thought they only came in blue

Re: Jim - 600LT

I did see the flash :blackeye I was out in the 600LT twice today. Wendy had a drive in it and thought it was fairly civilised and had good visibility. She physically can't see over the dashboard of the Stratos so doesn't even like being a passenger in that. Have to say, the soft top mini might be my...

Ahhh yeah, I took advantage of the late sunshine and dry roads to go out for a hurl and play with the flappy paddles. I'd probably been a gonk earlier tho  :D

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

Thanks all. I think it's a 650 that Harry Metcalfe has. Normal exhausts that just stick out the back :blackeye The option costs are crazy. I've just been taking a closer look and the 5 spoke Ultra Lightweight wheels were £4200 plus £1170 to have them in gloss black and £600 for titanium wheel bolts....

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

I'd actually discounted white (and black) initially. Other than orange I don't really associate McLaren with any particular colour and I was never really taken with any of the various oranges available. I was just focused on as much gloss carbon as possible and the Senna seats and wanted something t...

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

Keeping up the tradition of getting something that will be totally wasted on me I've gone and bought a McLaren 600LT Spider  I always thought McLarens all looked a bit similar apart from the one where the exhausts come out the top of the engine and spit flames rather than out the back so thou...

Re: New(ish) car .. not really Lotus Content and a long wait..

Bit of a photo dump.. Have been out and about a fair bit in the car over the summer but a house move has meant everything at the moment revolves round paint brushes and finding my way around the kitchen. Had to get the aircon re-gassed. Not sure if it ever worked properly but after 15 mins in the dr...
