Re: who had the first elise on SE?

Re: SE Forum Visibility (split from Crash on M8 last night...)

As others have pointed out....there may be journalists on here already....or worse! Locking it seves no purpose IMHO. Very true - I do a lot of work for Scotland's biggest selling newspaper and have never hidden that fact as some of you may remember. I'm sure there could be traffic police who are m...

Re: Yello S2 in Linlithgow

Yeah, that was us! Thanks!!

Tried to wave; don't know if you noticed.

We had 2 yellow S1's before the S2 we're in now - needs the faired-in headlamps
like on yours!

Also saw the 7's in the area.

Re: iphone 3G

So is the "Apple store" the best place to buy the phone then, rather than an O2 outlet...? Don't think it matters much where you buy the phone from - I bought mine online from O2 and got one for my wife from Carphone Warehouse. The best selection of cases and other accessories has defo been in the ...

Re: iphone 3G

1/ Does it sync with Outlook, and back up contacts and calendar etc? Yes it does support Outlook via Exchange I believe but I'm a Mac only person so can't say for sure. 2/ Is the calendar usable? I use my phone as my diary, and store all my shifts, appointments, birthdays etc in it. If I couldn't d...

White 211 Castle Terrace carpark

Spotted this white 211 making use of it's low profile in Castle Terrace Carpark in Edinburgh. Was there when I parked up this morning and still there when I left this evening so they'll have a sizeable parking bill unless there is a discount for using the low height bays!! Belong to anyone on here??...

Re: Sore one at knockers today!!!

Working up at Knockhill today and was chatting to Ian Forrest.

He was saying the driver got his foot stuck under the pedal and couldn't get on the brake pedal!!

As said above I'd love to see the pix from the snapper behind the tyre wall!!

Re: Sand in my camera :(

Avoid AJ Johnstone like the plague!! Overpriced and under-skilled!! Far too many people I know have had bad experiences there. Either Canon UK (down south) or Cameratiks in Edinburgh ( http://www.camerabase.demon.co.uk/linktiks.html) for repairs to Canon cameras. Edinburgh crew have a very go...

Re: Looking for Panorama Software (Canon Photostitch?)

Tried Aperture as well and found it painfully slow on my Macbook Pro compared
to the Photomechanic/CS3 combo I've been using despite maxing out on memory.

Did look great and I liked the work flow so I may need to have another go......... :)

Re: She said yes! anyone one know a decent wedding photographer?

:cheers Congratulations David and soon-to-be Mrs Bryce! Just celebrated my 12th wedding anniversary at the weekend..........! It's a hard job to find a snapper to do your own wedding - I had loads of sympathy for the poor 'tog that did my wedding with the large amount of photographers, picture edito...

Re: Driver training....

McApe was talking about doing it, the problem is finding a suitable cheap and large open tarmaced area to use. There must be somewhere with easy access from the central belt that could be used? I've been looking at a Walshy day myself but it is a long way away and something closer would really appe...
