Compomotive wheels for an S2 *SOLD*
I've got a set of compomotive wheels for an S2. I bought them back in 2012 but they sat in the boxes ever since...never even had tyres fitted to them. One of them has a few light scratches from storage. 2x 16x7 ET32 2x 17x8 ET32 http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a306/Kev_Ush/A08F36B5-2D11-4529-9E1A-...

Re: Clean S1 at a keen price?
I've got my dad going to have a look at if for after he knocks off work. Can't go myself as i'm out the country. It would be nice to get a SE'r opinion onthe the car to :thumbsup Quite fancy having a standard one to go along with the honda'd one. It might also spark my interest in getting the honda ...

Re: Death of the manual gearbox?
What driving test would you have to sit if these semi automatic gearboxes completely replaced manual gearboxes. If the car doesn't have a clutch and has a automatic mode I suppose it will be an automatic licence that you'll need??

Re: S2 wheels on an S1?
I'm fitting s2 hubs to my s1 just so I can have the stronger wheel bearing. From what I've been able to gather is that rear arms are the same length as the S2's. The front S1 arms are a few mm shorter but I'll give it a go with the S1 arms to start with and if I run into any problems I'll switch to ...

Re: Shell V-Power Nitro+ - Cold Starts
It would seem that a few people on the M3 forum I'm on are having the same sort of problems with this Shell Nitro stuff. Some have reported ruff idling and taking longer to fire up since using it.
I was always a fan of V-Power but I might give this nitro+ a miss for now.

Re: Honda Elise exhaust
Cheers for the info. I need to get cracking with my conversion again and i'll need a manifold at some point. I want an over the top one so maybe I should contact Colin and see who he is planning on getting to make his. Might be able to get 2 made at the same time and get a bit of a discount.

Re: Idiots guide to offsets required
No the Honda project is still on going, got the supercharger all fitted up now. Just a bit delayed due to work commitments and me spending all my spare time and cash on my M3. I haven't been swayed by kingk's ramblings :D The engine I've got in the classified section was one I had spare from type r ...

Re: Idiots guide to offsets required
There are a couple of decent apps on iTunes for trying to figure out offsets. I found one that let's you compare 2 different rims and it gives you an overlay of 2 images so you can compare the differences. I used it before I ordered my compomotives...haven't actually tried the wheels on the car yet ...

What ever happened to that manifold? Could it have been beefed up?Gourlay83 wrote:Scotty, I know you don't like him or the car but it's hardly the point.
Regardless of who owns the car, the exhaust was a disaster and trying to offer Andy some constructive advice.

As the title says. Complete Honda k20 engine from a civic type r with gearbox, wiring loom & ecu. I removed this from a damaged civic August last year and its been sat in my shed ever since. Re: BMW Electric Seat Broken - Flexible Shaft
If that doesn't hold up then you can try the likes of the people that make the custom gear cables for the Honda conversions. I'm sure they could knock something up at a fraction of the price. I can't remember the name of the company that makes the cables for the stark Honda kit but I'm sure someone ...
