Re: Zenos
HI Kenny, was good to meet you there! :cheers I've had the opposite experience, as in the morning we could only drive EP1 around the course. EP1 was only running 160bhp (safe tune) but you right, with the full 200 it might not be a bad place to be and all the added torque of the turbo might make it ...

Re: Register a car in Germany.
If you are UK expat (for tax) then it is difficult to get uk car insurance. Quite common for oil industry types on 4/4 rotation to holiday on the off time to maintain less than 90 days in uk... Specifically to me (and sorry, wasn't my 3d to start with) i do have my own business in the uk, which is ...

Re: Register a car in Germany.
I do live and work between uk and italy, which makes my car life difficult. I'm a uk resident, so i cannot register/insure a car in italy, and my uk insurance won't be valid for use over 180 days abroad (90 for the elise). Whereas German insurance do not have this limitation. It would make my life e...

Re: N3 being rebuilt
Good luck Luca. Regards engine mount, I believe the early blink conversions as with Simon S's kit ( I believe one and the same) only ever used 3 engine/gearbox mounts. One each side to support the weight and a third to stop rotation which was the long stay underneath linked to the bell housing and ...

Re: N3 being rebuilt
Realise that luca, and they all enjoy a good laugh at the old git, especially when I wave as I pass them on track. However please let me know if you would like your money back, tis one thing to sell you a lemon, another thing to sell you a melon. (ooh, an anagram) tut Tut, as I told you and as you'...

Re: N3 being rebuilt
All explainable luca. I posted a pic of the broken spring, I also replaced the two rear MMC discs as I thought it was going to auction, with ali bell ones. I also took off the front LH wheel as I had just fitted new CL pads and started to replace them, when they told me that I could buy it back, an...

Re: N3 being rebuilt
Hi, I'm the one who's tackling the rebuild (well with some help, and no, the help is not from a shrink!) :) Just to follow up on the comment posted from Tut. This is how the subframe was cooked close to the exhaust. Was similarly burned/rotten both on the manifold and silencer side, sorry I only hav...

What an innings!
I'm sure N3 will soon be ready to do many more miles. Maybe just a tad slower though
