Re: Elise Trophy & Cup change tyres

LoafingWafu won a set of these in a competition from LoTRDC over Christmas - asked him about them yesterday and he hasn't fitted them yet though.

Think he'll be running them in the sprinting series we're running this year, so will be interesting to see how they compare to the R888's he ran in 2012.

Re: Evora resale values

Been tracking them every few months (can link to all the data if wanted) and they've been a bit strange to be honest. Early 2009 cars were down to £31k over a year ago but advertised prices really haven't dropped since. Other than a couple high mileage (60k+) and LHD models under £30k that's been pr...

Quite like the look of the Krypton green, but I think Solar Yellow and Chrome Orange look better.

Never seen a picture of a Krypton Evora which I thought looked that great really - love it on the S2 Exige but not the Evora.

Re: Would this concern you if you were buying a new Lotus?

I've written up a short piece on the visit to Hethel to take a look at Exige S' on the production line and to try and clear up some of the rumours. Re: V6 Exige Performance Upgrades

How hard is it to squeeze in past the roll cage though? Some people struggle with a standard car as it is. The Exige V6 Cup road going car doesn't get the full roll-cage as standard, just the A frame with harness bar (full cage is optional), I've been trying to build up a bit of a knowledge base ov...

Re: V6 Exige Video

:welcome Don't take our criticism to heart, we are a friendly bunch really and it was good to see the car in 'action' - just wasn't a Top Gear test  I did try to get hold of Plans Motorsport to see if they could get the car on the weigh scales (I like data and statistics), but they couldn't f...

Re: V6 Exige Video

Thorburn, Thanks for coming on here and putting your points across. :D Do you think that you can 'borrow the car again' fit the Gopro and find some quiet twisty roads and make another little film? Keep the lens away from pointing at the speedometer and show us how it's done :thumbsup Steve. Ps. Wel...

Re: V6 Exige Video

Video is mine, came here from the YouTube stats and thought it's only fair to address some of the comments. To answer a few of the comments on here I was lent the car to do an article for the SELOC site and newsletter (I won't link it here as I don't know the policy for such things), I didn't use th...
