2Bular 8x22 - SOLD!

It only has 2 to 3k miles on it, going cheap at £220. It's in Glasgow.

Reason for selling is that I'm trading in the sc for something much much stupider, like a tvr tamora.

Re: Grey Elise SC - Applecross

That was me! :) Will need to go back sometime when its not raining, didn't see any of it at all really, and when not stuck behind a green vrs who doesn't know that passing places are also to allow people to overtake. Weather was good on other side though, had some Jurassic prawns at the applecross i...

Re: ad07 tyre alternative?

I've gone for the ad07 lts rears this time... Because I guess the fronts will probably survive until or near when the new set of rears wear out. It would cost me not much less to equip a full set of "others" so I think it makes sense to do this as long as the fronts wear on schedule... lol... I agre...

Re: ad07 tyre alternative?

checking out the Dunlop Sport Maxx RTjust now, reasonable prices, and if mr Shedden rates them... :) T1R's dunno, dunno seems to split opinion 50-50. Think a large portion recommend Khumo 31 or 39 over the T1Rs Btw I'm after an expensive tyre, not a budget tyre, and not an extortionately expensive t...

Re: ad07 tyre alternative?

Yeah changing wheels sizes would definetely make things a lot more involved on many levels... Despite all the threads it not at all clear what my specific options are. Eliseparts says their 195/50/R16 T1R are for all Elise/exige variants... hmmm... are they though? Don't know for sure until I get co...

Re: ad07 tyre alternative?

Thanks, I will read into the Falkens.

BTW funny how blackcircles gives 0 results for the Elise fronts. Is it an unusual size?

ad07 tyre alternative?

Hi folks, Just got quoted £434 by Murray's for a pair of ad07 rears! Wowzers that is only £100 less than I paid for a set of 4 bridgestones re50's on my s2000, also custom compound like the elise, not to mention the fronts were bigger than the Elise rears... what's going on? So what are my options? ...

Haha, Craig must really like the smell of that rear end! :P

Not sure about the disproportionately narrow spoiler myself.
