Hi Guys, Not been on here for a while and looking to get back into a lotus. I have seen the orange Exige at Murray's which has been modified to 320 bhp. I guess my question is does anyone know the car? Performance? The one thing that is really scaring me is the reliability of a modified car. Any adv...

Re: S2 Exige S vs 996 C4S

perfect topic. Have been thinking about either an Exige or a C4S. I just can't live with my 123 coupe anymore.

Anyone know how running an RS4 compares with these 2 cars as thats my other thought.

Re: Is everyone buying a car just know

I've got a 123d which returns around 50mpg when motorway cruising and averages around 40mpg. Plenty quick enough when needed. M-sport package makes it look less girly but ride gets quite harsh. :thumbsup I tested both the 120d and 123d before eventually buying my 123d coupe. There is a huge differe...

Re: WHAT BMW (NLC)

Sorry, Stevo - The 38mpg is driving quite hard the 48mpg is sitting at 56mph on the motorway & not accelorating over 2000rpm.... (I tried this out on a full tank to see what it could get) Where as cruising at 85mph on the Motorway, you will get about 38 too.... David yep there is no way you can get...

Big surprise there, dealer always want something for nothing! (I'm not bitter honest)

I think things are in your favour privately due to the amount of cars going to foreign shores just now. S1 values are quite high.

Re: Another waved goodbye thread

Sad news but the 123D is a pretty impressive 'diesel' and a cheap remap will bring a huge smile to your face :) Out of interest why didn't you get a cheaper diesel work-horse and keep the Elise for weekends etc ? Actually a couple of reasons. the elise is was not fully paid for so i had a finance p...

Another waved goodbye thread

Well I waved good bye yesterday to my 2nd Elise and also my S3 :( I was going to try and keep them both as long as possible but due to the birth of our first son and the cost of fuel seemingly rocketing out of control, something had to give. Having to travel approx 650 miles a week to and from work ...

Re: Where can you get a decent steak in Dundee? NLC

Decent steak in Dundee? not really many top restaurants in Dundee.

I'm pretty handy with the old gridle tho.

Had the best steak of my life in Qatar in a restaurant in the Ramada hotel. £46 just for the steak and £5 for 6 chips but it was pretty good!
